In a very below par performance Sandhurst took away a 1-0 win from Clifton Reserves to keep their unbeaten record in Division One intact.

The first half was a very open affair with both sides having chances but nothing really challenging either keeper.
After a few dodgy offside flags and poor p
asses Sandhurst created a number of efforts on the Clifton goal with Mills, Mason and Allen going close.
Frost on the Sandhurst wing had the best of the chances but failed to break the deadlock.
After an Alex Ferguson style ‘airdresser’ half time team talk, Sandhurst came out a lot more interested and piled the pressure on Clifton but again lacked the killer instinct in front of goal.
In the early stages their were signs of something having to give and a Dave Voller free kick found its way from 25 yards past the Clifton keeper after a goal mouth scramble.
Sandhurst continued to create but also showed signs of defensive quality when it was needed.
But overall this was a below par performance form the side who beat league leaders Bulwell.
Matrixgrade’s Division One match at Bilborough Pelican Reserves was postponed.
In Division Two Sandhurst Reserves put in a much improved performance but narrowly lost out 1-0 to high flying Hucknall Rolls Leisure Reserves.
