Mansfield Woodhouse biker killed in Cuckney crash

A MANSFIELD Woodhouse motorcyclist who was killed in a road accident on the A632 at Cuckney has been named as Jon-Paul McNeill.
Mr McNeill (27), of Gladstone Street, died when the Kawasaki ZX 750 he was riding collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa on Langwith Road at around 4.40pm on Friday 3rd October.

The 22-year-old female driver of the Corsa was taken to King's Mill Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

Police only released details of the accident today (Friday) and say any witnesses should contact Pc 2435 Kirk on 0115 9670999 ext. 7075 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

we all loved j-p, even though he wouldnt let me play his worms games sometimes when we were younger, but no matter what he was always like a big brother to me. i will miss him so much and will never forget all the good times i spent with him. fond memories of our childhood will always be with me.
we will always be waiting to see you again j-p your such a good person and this should not of happened to you. all the family love you and will never forget you ever, you were always there for me like a big brother and you are the best cousin anyone could of wished for.

I only knew you for a few months when you came to work at Bonds but i thought you was a great guy,i was only looking at our Xmas night out work pictures a few days before you was sadly taken away,i am now living in Egypt but i was still shocked to hear of this tragedy.RIP J.P and my deepest thoughts to you family and girlfriend.

well what can i say really a bit of a tragedy really i remember the day that i first started drinking john smiths it was because of you and glen i will always remember you from that and how tall you were and hope to see you soon in the futurer cousin love and miss you always

we will miss our little dinner parties we used to have and our funny little chats about anything and nothing and of course going out on our motorbikes.
