A SEX offender described by a judge as 'very dangerous' has been locked up until he is sentenced in January.
Daniel Smith (34), whose address in court was listed as Portland Street, Mansfield, swore at Judge Dudley Bennett when the judge said he was unable to deal with him at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday.
The judge threatened to send him from the dock if he continued to behave as he was doing.
Smith is awaiting sentence for a breach of a court order by failing to comply with the notification of his address.
He is also to be dealt with for taking and possessing indecent photographs of children.
'Disregards'
Smith admitted the offences on Monday when he appeared before Nottingham magistrates, who sent the case to the Crown Court.
Judge Bennett said: "He is a sex offender who completely disregards the orders the court makes."
The judge said it seemed Smith had encouraged young children into his premises and taken indecent photographs of them — but said he needed psychiatric and probation reports before passing sentence.
Added Judge Bennett: "I want to know what my maximum powers are as I think he is a very dangerous individual."
Smith was remanded in custody until 9th Janurary.
